I stayed at Quintessa for 2 nights before travelling up to Niseko. The double bed room was reasonably sized for a solo traveller for me and clean. I have no complaints especially since I paid for the 2 nights for about USD100 total which was a steal. Definitely better than JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo (which was not too bad) and KOKO Hotel Sapporo Ekimae that I stayed in 2023. Being in the Susukino area, it was close to more eating places, Tanukikoji, Nijo seafood market etc which made it convenient compared to hotels nearer to Sapporo station. Would stay there again definitely

A very good and clean hotel. What was super was the help we received from one of the employees working the counter. Our rental car plans fell through on the day before we were to have the car for a week - they were cancelled by the agency for some unknown reason. We were in a jam and asked the person at the front desk who then made a couple of calls and secured us a rental car. I do not know why using the internet resources for renting a car in Sapporo was such a dead end, but this Quintessa Hotel employee helped us out a ton.

The susukino chain has proved to be extremely reliable and reasonably priced for our stays through Japan and the Hokkaido branch is no different. The room was a bit more spacious than what we expected, which was nice, and the room had amenities that were sufficient for our needs. It's in the heart of Sapporo, in the susukino area (near to clubs and love hotels) so might not feel safe for lone travellers but we thought it was pretty alright.

Very clean and new, friendly and professional staff always there trying to help to cater your needs. Very spacious for the price we paid, breakfast were good too. We stayed three nights in total, we were very satisfied with their service and environment. There are lot's of restaurants and convenience stores nearby the hotel too, all within walking distance. Highly recommend!

The size of the room and washroom was much bigger than usual budget hotels. Additionally, they kindly stored our luggage for free in the cloak room before our check-in time, so we could go sightseeing without having to carry our luggage around. The location is also great, just about 6 mins walk from the Susukino station.
